Longitudinal view
Every consult the patient has had with the practice — and, where shared, with other MedMETs providers — appears in a single timeline. Notes, prescriptions, referrals, attachments, and outcomes all linked to the visit.
Health records in MedMETs aren't a sidecar to the scribe — they're the spine of the platform. Every consult, every meaningful decision, every patient-side update is appended to a single longitudinal record.
Each surface is reachable in under two clicks from the patient page — the practitioner-app design language values low-friction navigation over comprehensive but buried information.
Every consult the patient has had with the practice — and, where shared, with other MedMETs providers — appears in a single timeline. Notes, prescriptions, referrals, attachments, and outcomes all linked to the visit.
Medications, allergies, and observations roll up from individual consults into the patient's current state. Inconsistencies are surfaced (e.g. a med discontinued in one consult that's still in the active list) for the clinician to resolve.
Existing patient data imports from Best Practice, Medical Director, Genie, Cliniko, and Helix via certified connectors. Bulk import on onboarding; ongoing sync via HL7 v2 for incremental updates.
Records are stored in HL7 FHIR R4 format internally. Outbound integrations expose the same shape; inbound integrations parse into the same shape. No proprietary lock-in.
Search by name, UR, complaint, medication, or any structured field. Patients with shared care across providers (with consent) are surfaced as a single result, not duplicated.
Every read and write of the patient record is audit-logged. Patient-side consent controls who can see the record — the patient grants access, the practice receives access, the patient can revoke at any time.
The access model is the most-asked compliance question in healthcare vendor due diligence. Three roles, clearly scoped.
Active practice staff can see records for patients enrolled at the practice. Access is logged; revocation propagates immediately on staff offboarding.
Patients see their full record in the MedMETs app. They can export the record at any time as a portable document. They can also request full deletion under Data Subject Rights regulation.
When a patient is co-managed (e.g. GP + specialist), shared-care permissions are scoped to the relevant providers only — never the whole network.
Starter covers up to 500 patients. Professional is unlimited. Enterprise adds dedicated infrastructure, custom HL7 FHIR integrations, and bulk import support during implementation.
On the trial, you can import a sample patient batch from your existing EHR and see exactly how the record renders in MedMETs. The clinical-success team handles the mapping if your EHR isn't on the standard list.
